چکیده
Zasoby informacyjne gromadzone i wykorzystywane przez jednostki samorządu terytorialnego na potrzeby rozmaitych opracowań, wniosków sprawozdań są bardzo rozległe. Jednakże nie zawsze uporządkowane, a kompleksowość stopień aktualizowania bazy informacyjnej wykorzystywanej do celów zarządzania można uznać za niedostateczny. W artykule zaprezentowano wielofunkcyjne narzędzie – Monitor Rozwoju Lokalnego opracowane Związek Miast Polskich, będące funkcjonalną bazą informacyjną, dysponującą danymi zgromadzonymi w ustalonym porządku, świadomie dobranymi sposobu korzystania oceny sytuacji społeczno-gospodarczej jednostkach terytorialnego.
